Designed for those who have:

 

• Spent time caring for relatives and who wished to use these skills for future employment

• Been employed as carers but no longer wanted to work in a personal care environment

• Spent time supporting children and grandchildren learning at home and who wished to extend this into employment

• Been aware of the supporting nature of their relationships with friends and family

• Wished to work term time only

• The programme will deliver a blended programme combining supporting others sessions, designed to build knowledge and confidence and dispel myths, with employability skills and work experience/placement.

 

In addition, there will be opportunities daily to assist with:

 

• Job Search and making applications

• Interview Skills

• Developing an effective CV
